The Sustainable Essex committee is working to improve energy efficiency and energy and environmental sustainability. The committee has a number of projects of their own, as well as many projects that being completed as actions for the Sustainable CT program. The sustainable CT program encourages a spectrum of actions including watershed management, arts and creative culture, renewable energy, “complete streets” (that meet the needs of walkers, bikers as well as cars), recycling programs, climate vulnerability assessments, support for local businesses and efficient and diverse housing options.

Past Events lists all of the great things that the committee has completed in the past, and will include all completed Sustainable CT projects as they finish.
